Fiona Tyson is a professional makeup artist for film, theater, television, and print. While studying for her Bachelors in Theater Studies at Emerson College she discovered a love for the art of transformation. Originally concentrating in Costume Design she experimented with painting faces and styling wigs and felt that with her background in painting she could turn faces into her canvas. After Emerson she went on to study makeup artistry at the Joe Blasco School for Makeup Design and since then has been building up a resume including a variety of independent and thesis films, television productions, theatrical productions, music videos, photoshoots, and other various media. In her career as a makeup artist she plans to create images of beauty, horror, fantasy, and most importantly wonder, using the face as her canvas.
